
Born and raised in Athens, Greece, Myrto is a performer and creative based in New York City. Growing up in a family that valued art, books, records and travels more than anything else and being inspired by her grandparents, both actors, she knew she wanted to be on stage since the age of five.
Earning a BA in English Language and Literature from the University of Athens and simultaneously her Diploma in Dance and Dance Teaching with distinction, she started working with Anima Libera Dance Company and was one of the first dancers to join MAZI, a new dance theatre company based in Athens.

After performing and teaching in Athens, she was invited to audition and got accepted into the Steps on Broadway Conservatory in New York City where she trained in musical theatre, explored various kinds of dance and had the opportunity to work with well-known choreographers. She has performed with Steps Conservatory at the Joyce Theater, Ailey Citigroup Theater, Manhattan Movement and Arts Center and National Dance Institute to name a few and has presented her own work at Steps on Broadway and Manhattan Movement and Arts Center. She has also performed as an independent artist at venues like Don't Tell Mama and Loy Luo Art Space.

She is currently studying at the Martha Graham School of Contemporary Dance as she keeps on working on independent projects involving dancing, singing and acting, as well as choreographing, always eager to learn new things and expand her versatility. She is the co-founder of Lucid Art Collective, a collective which provides space for dancers, choreographers and artists to experiment and collaborate and serves as a production associate with Greece in USA.​​
